National Mills Weekend
This weekend is National Mills Weekend and Brixton Windmill will be open on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May from 1pm to 5pm.
On Saturday the windmill’s millwright, Paul Sellwood, will be coming along from 1pm to 4pm to turn the cap and set sails. So even if it’s not windy, you will be able to see the sails turning!
And on Sunday afternoon the architects who oversaw the restoration of Brixton Windmill will be giving a talk about the process.
Most of our guided tours are fully booked, but you can still come along and get a tour of the outside and up to the first floor.
