With exposed wooden beams and a vast central space, the picturesque Brixton Windmill Centre is the perfect Brixton wedding venue and can accommodate up to 60 in an attractive setting just metres away from London’s only working windmill.

Brixton Windmill Centre offers the combination of a stylish purpose built venue in the picturesque setting of a Grade II listed windmill which provides a beautiful backdrop for photographing your wedding reception.

Tables and chairs to seat 40 people, along with full use of the catering-grade kitchen, crockery and cutlery, are included in your hire. Minimum hire is for 4 hours.

Don’t forget that you can include unique items from our shop as party favours and mementos of your special day for you and your guests. We have everything from children’s party bag items to homeware keepsakes.

The Centre is a safe, eco-friendly and sustainable venue with passive ventilation and doors that can open to the fresh air along the length of the building.

The Windmill is a 20 minute walk or bus ride from Brixton tube at the end of the Victoria line. During rush hour there is a train every 100 seconds, making the venue both immediately accessible and at the same time one of the most ‘away from it all’ places in central London.
