Where should I go to collect my order?

Collect your order from the Brixton Windmill Centre alongside the windmill in Windmill Gardens, SW2 5DA. Collections can currently be made on Wednesdays between 9:30am – 5pm. Please contact the centre directly to arrange a time to collect or discuss alternative availability for collection.

Sometimes when the Brixton Windmill Centre is being hired out, the café will be closed. Before making a special journey please check by calling the Brixton Windmill Centre on 0203 651 7042 or email

How will I know when my Click & Collect order is ready?

We’ll send you an email when your order is accepted, you can collect once you have received this, when the Brixton Windmill Centre is open.

I’ve lost my order confirmation email — What can I do?

Please check the junk folder of your email account, as occasionally confirmation emails can end up here. To keep your order safe, we don’t let anyone collect on your behalf unless they have your order number or a photo ID. What do I need to bring to collect my order?

We need to see your confirmation email with the order number, either printed out or on your phone as proof of purchase. You will need to bring proof of ID such as the payment card you used for the order, or a photo ID such as current driver’s licence or passport.

Can someone collect on my behalf?

Yes someone else can collect your order, but to safeguard you from fraud, if someone else is picking up your Click & Collect order for you, they will to bring your order number together their own ID.

How long will you hold my order?

We’ll hold your order for 1 month at the Brixton Windmill Centre, after which we’ll return the item to stock and refund your account.

Standard Shipping: Royal Mail first class post

We currently deliver only within the UK by Royal Mail first class post within 3-5 working days of receiving your order. Please note that the item costs for shipping only apply to Mainland UK, there may be a surcharge for Highlands and Islands.

P&P over £50

FREE shipping on a spend of £50 or more

Delivery times

Our online shop and the Brixton Windmill Centre is run by our volunteers. We make every effort to despatch orders as quickly as possible, however in some cases it may take up to 7 days. If items are required within a specific time frame, please email us and we will try our best to achieve this.

Please note that we are currently working with a reduced team during Covid restrictions, so you may experience a delay in the dispatch of your order, beyond the guide times below.

Most products are dispatched within 3-4 working days of receiving the order. Orders are not shipped at weekends or bank holidays.
Your order will normally reach you within 2-3 working days. It may take a little longer in busy periods.

Stock availability

We try to give accurate stock information when you place your order, when stock gets low we may not have what you ordered. We do update the stock availability on the site regularly, so if your order is urgent then call us on 020 3651 7042 or email
If for unforeseen reasons your order is unavailable, we will contact you using the details you have given us. If you choose to cancel the order, we will give you a full refund for the unavailable item.

Packing of products

We use recycled packaging where we can, and also re-use surplus boxes whenever possible. We always take care to ensure that the packages we send reach you in perfect condition but if there is a problem, let us know straight away, send us a photo of any damage and we will arrange a refund or return.

Gift wrapping

We are a small volunteer led organisation with limited people resources, unfortunately we are unable to offer a gift wrapping service at present.

Changing your mind

If you buy an item and decide that it isn’t right for you, please let us know right away (within 14 days of delivery). If you ship it back to us within 30 days of delivery, in its original condition and at your expense, we will refund your money on receipt.
