Great Windmill Bake Off
Remember Nancy’s cake based on the Moulin Rouge in the last series of the Great British Bake Off?
Well, we’re having our own cake baking competition on Milling Monday, 4 May.
The theme – surprise! – is windmills, but you don’t have to produce something as elaborate as Nancy.?
There are two classes: 12 years and under, and 13+, and we’ll be awarding prizes to the best in each class.
To enter, just bring your cakes along to Brixton Windmill on Monday 4 May at 2pm.
Judging will take place 2.30-3.30pm, and the results will be announced at 4pm.
Entry is free, and you can enter as many cakes as you want – but they must be home made.
Brixton Windmill will also be open for tours 2-5pm, and we will be demonstrating flour milling for the first time. So come along for a cracking cake-filled afternoon!
