Welcoming our new Community Club Facilitator

A new facilitator at Brixton Windmill Community Club

We are very much looking forward to welcoming Lindsay Levkoff Lynn who will join us from mid April as our new Community Club Facilitator. Lindsay is very excited to be taking on the role as Facilitator for the fantastic Community Club that runs on Thursdays.  She has already had the chance to volunteer for several weeks in March and in doing so sees that she has big shoes to fill as the much loved Debbie steps down to become a member.  Originally from Tennessee, Lindsay has lived in the Brixton and Clapham areas for the better part of 20 years – first learning about the Windmill in 2011.  However, this autumn was her first time coming for a tour – which she, her husband and her 9 year old daughter all loved!  As a result, she started volunteering as a miller and baker, before finding out about the community club role in the FoWG newsletter.  Her previous work was largely with youth charities, and in recent years she has been a full time mum…with a love of crafts, cooking, and travelling.  She is most looking forward to getting to know the members and volunteers better – they have been so welcoming and she has really enjoyed chats about everything including new grandbabies, recipes for Pho, techniques for puzzles, and hopes for the club as it continues!
