Nursery class meets Hannah Ashby

Forty six children came to the Windmill today to meet ‘Hannah Ashby’ (the wife of John Ashby) and hear her story of the Little Red Hen. The children also made their own little red hens with felt, glitter and wobbly eyes! Laura Zauli, a Friend of Windmill Gardens was on hand to help with sticking and glueing, and help Lisa Rigg in and out of her costume! Lisa will be going to the school next week to make bread with the children.
