Mill Memories update

To date, 18 people have taken part in the Mill Memories project. Interviewees include relatives of the original owners, the Ashbys; millwrights who worked on recent restorations; and local residents who have enjoyed and cared for the Windmill over the past 70 years.

We are grateful to all those who have taken the time to share their memories and photographs, and also to oral historian Sarah Lowry, who is managing the project, and the wonderful group of volunteer interviewers, photographers and film-makers who are the driving force behind the work.
