At the English Heritage Angels Awards ceremony last week, Vice-Chair Richard Santhiri managed to get some well-known faces to sign his awards programme, endorsing Brixton Windmill.
Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber (right), who sponsored the awards, wrote: “With my very best wishes for this wonderful project”.
Judge Melvyn Bragg wrote: “Wish this wonderful windmill well. What a spectacular asset for Brixton”.
And broadcaster Clare Balding, who hosted the ceremony, wrote: “The answer my friend is blowing in the wind. What a wonderful project. Many congratulations”.
