Brixton Windmill in 1967
It was another busy open weekend last weekend, with visitors including a family from Tasmania and a large group on a guided walk organised by the Brixton Society.
Fred Atkins, from Sittingbourne in Kent, also visited Brixton Windmill for the second time – his first visit was back in 1967!
Fred said: “I visited Brixton Windmill last Saturday and was very pleased to see the splendid old mill in such good condition and staffed by such pleasant people!
“My one and only visit to the mill was in 1967 and I thought that you might like to have a copy of a slide that I took then.”
