Baking bread with Corpus Christi

Lisa Rigg went into Corpus Christi today to bake some Irish soda bread and other breads using yeast with 45 nursery children. Using buttermilk and bicarbonate of soda we made four soda breads in the morning and in the afternoon we made two loaves using wheat. The children learnt about mixing, kneading and shaping.
