A visit to Dulwich Picture Gallery

On Friday 13 January 2012, Lisa with two classes from Hillmead Primary School visited the Dulwich Picture Gallery to look at windmill paintings by Ruisdael and Constable. Roberto, the gallery’s storyteller brought the Constable painting to life with a parable about a mean King and the miller’s son. The session was rounded off with drawing pictures hung in the gallery. We will be returning in February to do a painting workshop in their art studio.
