History, Mystery & Ministry – A Walk from the Windmill to Windrush Square
If you are interested in local Brixton history across 2000 years join Lambeth Tour Guide Diana on this 1.5 hour walk around approximately 1.5 miles of Brixton.
We will start at Brixton Windmill, walk part of the Roman Road, follow some of the course of the Effra River. We will talk of monarchs, authors, influencers and places of worship. There is even an unsolved murder. Brixton is the centre of Lambeth and Windrush Square its beating heart.
