Art in the Park
Get inspired by the natural beauty of Windmill Gardens at our annual Art in the Park event at Brixton Windmill. This year’s theme is “growth”.
We have a range of free drop in workshops on offer throughout the afternoon suitable for adults, children and families working together.
This year’s artist-led workshops are:
- Pop Up Cards with Penny
- Making junk plants with recycled materials with Joanna
- Natural cord bracelets with Kim
- Drawing Diversity with Angela
- T-Shirt painting with Lamonte
- Grow a flower with Ching Yee
Most activities are free, but donations for materials are always welcome.
It is also possible to take a guided tour of Brixton Windmill during the afternoon, 1-5pm – last tour at 4.40pm.
A variety of delicious home made cakes and hot and cold drinks will be on sale as well as our colourful range of windmill merchandise, including T-shirts, mugs, tea towels and freshly milled wholemeal flour.
