May Fest

This year’s May Day event will celebrate seasonal folk traditions with live music, Morris dancing, craft and planting activities.

Make sure you’ve put the date in your diary – it’s going to be a great afternoon so spread the word!

The event runs 1pm to 5pm and includes:

Brixton Brewery stall.
Live music stage with music from 3 local bands – Lucy & Joe, Bilingo and Brit Pop Folk Orchestra
Traditional May Day Morris Dancing from the Tatterjacks at 3.30pm in the Family Field
Kids races, games and May Pole dancing in the Field Field
Craft workshops with Kids Kreate
Planting and seed bomb workshops with Urban Canopy plus flower crowns to wear.
Hot food from En Root and Deuce
Bakery and cake stalls from Bread Bread and Emily Hunt Cakes.
Honey from Bee Urban.
Brixton Windmill shop and cafe
