Schools' Education Programme 2011/12
We have developed a range of exciting curriculum-based workshops that explore the history and hertage of the Windmill, but we need your help!
If you are a nursery, primary or secondary school in the London Borough of Lambeth we would like to hear from you. We are looking to engage Foundation, KS1, KS2 and KS3 children in series of FREE pilot workshops during the autumn and winter terms. We will be offering five workshops to choose from: Little Red Hen, Flour Power, Mighty Mills, Robbed of Wind! and From Satanic to Angelic. For more information about our 'Taught Sessions' click here.
This will be the first year that the Windmill has opened regularly to the general public as a heritage attraction; and the first time that a schools’ education programme has been offered at this historic building.
