Bat Walk 24 September

Our free bat walks in Windmill Gardens area are led by the Lambeth Environment Specialist and a bat expert Dr Iain Boulton.

Bat detectors will be provided and those taking part are asked to wear suitable clothes and comfortable shoes.

The walks start from the gates of Windmill Gardens at 7pm and last about one hour depending on the walking speed of the group and the questions that come up. Please arrive at 6.50pm for a prompt 7pm start.

Walks usually get booked up very quickly. If we get cancellations we advertise these on Twitter @brixtonwindmill.

Due to government guidelines on social distancing, the number of people on each walk is limited to 20, so you must book in advance. You will need to bring and wear your own face mask, and remain at least 2 metres from anyone else on the walk who is not a member of your own household or bubble. We can refuse entry to people who refuse to wear masks and do not have a valid exemption under the rules. Our tours and walks are organised by volunteer guides and their safety is our priority. Please help us protect our team.

Please follow NHS advice on the coronavirus and do not attend if you have symptoms or are in a high-risk group.
