Can you see what it is yet?

Just to whet your appetite for our parade on 7 May, here’s a peek behind the scenes at the preparations going on.

Our festival group has been working with Veolia to convert many of its vehicles into floats. So a cherry picker is transformed into a dinosaur, while a dustcart becomes an elephant.

The photos show the creation of Jonah the Whale, starting with a template of his head and finishing with a 16ft blue monster!
