DESCRIPTION:Thursdays, 10am to 2pm \nThe Community Club that brings people aged 65+ together\nPLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO RED EXTREME HEAT WARNING THERE WILL BE NO CLUB HERE ON THURSDAY 25 JUNE – WE’LL BE BACK ON 2 JULY.\n**Please note we are currently at full capacity. We are operating a waiting list for new members. If you’d like to be on our waiting list please contact Lindsay our Community Club Facilitator at windmillcommunityclub@brixtonwindmill.org ( mailto:windmillcommunityclub@brixtonwindmill.org ) **\nEveryone aged 65+ is welcome to come along to our weekly Community Club at the Brixton Windmill Centre.  You’ll find a relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcome from our Friends of Windmill Gardens team.  Each week there’s a mix of activities, including: board games, jigsaws and puzzles; creative arts and crafts plus chair exercises for keeping in shape. There is also the opportunity to get support with benefits, debt and NHS.  We share a home cooked lunch and hot drinks are available at each club session.  From time to time we enjoy live music, talks, and dance or take trips to museums, galleries and places of interest like Kew Gardens.\nThe Brixton Windmill Community Club is a membership club, where you pay what you can afford, or a suggested minimum donation of £2 per week.  It is a great place to meet people and enrich your life, and with regular attendance you will find support from a diverse community from many backgrounds. The community club is currently funded by National Lottery Awards for All.  Do you have any questions or want to join?
