This year’s event includes a visit from traditional May Day figure “Jack in the Green”!\nMake sure you’ve put the date in your diary – it’s going to be a great afternoon so spread the word!\nThe event runs 1pm to 5pm and includes:\n\nBeer from Clarkshaws Brewery\nLive music stage with music from London Metropolitan Brass Band and Brit Pop Folk Orchestra\nJack in the Green Parade with Brass Band (3.15pm)\nMilling Demonstrations between 2pm to 4pm\nTraditional May Day Morris Dancing from the Tatterjacks at 3.45pm in the Family Field\nMay Pole dancing in the Family Field around 4.15pm\nCakes, hot drinks, pimms and more from our cafe\nCraft workshops including Green Man Masks and Paper Flowers\nNature workshops from South London Botanical Institute and Urban Canopy\nPlanting and flower crown workshops.\nFamily Volunteering Club activities\nHot food from En Root and Deuce\nBakery and cake stalls from Bread Bread and Emily Hunt Cakes.\nBrixton Windmill shop and cafe\n\n
