Brixton City Farm Consultation

Would you like a City Farm in Windmill Gardens? Come and have your say and meet the animals and people behind the idea on 21 February!

Brixton City Farm is a community of people who, over the past few years, have been keeping animals in their gardens in Brixton. They are now looking to start a more conventional city farm in Brixton, possibly in Windmill Gardens.

The farm would provide a space for local people to:

  • farm livestock for eggs, milk, meat, honey, and wool
  • come together to learn about local history
  • spend time outside learning skills to lead happier, healthier lives
  • improve Brixton's environment and explore sustainability.

To find out more and have your say, come to a community consultation on Saturday 21 February, 12-4pm, in Windmill Gardens. You can meet the people and animals behind the idea, and there will be live music, food and drink, and games and entertainment.

If you have questions, contact Lucy on 07748 855961 or email hellobrixtoncityfarm@gmail.com.
